I studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the studio of Prof. Jacek Sienicki.

I moved to London to study at the Byam Shaw School of Art, where I continued to draw and paint from the model, with the additional classes in etching and lithography.

I did more printmaking, the stone lithography, at the Morley College in Lambeth.

I lived and worked in the artist's community in the Old Hospital in Stockwell, where I organized and participated in numerous shows.

In 1995 I moved to France, making my home briefly in Paris and then in the mountains of Pyrenees.

I lived in the isolated house with no running water or car access, where I started painting the landscape.

In 2007 I moved to Italy and settled in the countryside near Lago di Bolsena.

I restored the house, planted the garden, and set up the studio.
